Moving season is underway and firms on the buy-side and sell-side are looking for talent.
We spoke to eight financial services recruiters to get a sense of what they re observing.

Once the bonus season dust settles and cash hits the bank accounts, Wall Street laces up its running shoes. Now, everyone from up-and-comers to full-fledged rockstars is racing to assess their opportunities.
Nvidia (
NVDA) - Get Report has been a bit of an anomaly. It hasn’t participated in the rally that growth stocks have seen for the last several quarters, but it’s not exactly considered a FAANG holding.
While lacking the hyper growth that some of its smaller peers boast, Nvidia has pretty respectable growth among the investment community.
In essence, it sits somewhere between FAANG and high-growth stocks. Yet, it seems to be punished on both fronts.
Nvidia has stagnated like FAANG stocks have over the past few quarters, as Apple (
AMZN) - Get Report and others continue to consolidate in a sideways manner.

I know you had high hopes, as did I. Who doesn t love a broad rally led by what you have been adding to? Who doesn t love record close upon record close? There were so many delicious ingredients that it all made for what seemed to be a well-balanced meal. But something was missing. Garlic? A little nutmeg? A hint of molasses?
Winners beat losers as advancing volume beat declining volume quite easily at the New York Stock Exchange and in a complete rout at the Nasdaq Market Site. Eight of 11 S&P Sector Select SPDR ETFs closed in the green, led by growth as Technology (XLK) and Communications Services (XLC) tacked on 2.14% and 1.89%, respectively. The crowd (bots) piled back into the semis. Hooray. Internet stocks were cool again. Yippee.
